-3 more lbs this week. I had my second fill yesterday. She put in another 1 cc of sterile saline. That brings me to a total of 5 cc's....over half full now. I swear that she told me the last time that it holds 12 cc's but yesterday she said that it holds 9 cc's. Anyhow... that doesn't really matter so much I guess. So, I am back on clear liquids today.... protein shakes on Friday... and Saturday I can start back on a full diet.
I am feeling really good. I have been feeling really hungry, so I am hoping that this fill will really make a difference. She said that I should start feeling some restiction now.

- I am 38 years old. I have a wonderful husband, Rudy, who supports me in everything that I do. I have a great family of supporters and of course all of my good, good friends! I love my life! In early May I decided that I am really not happy with my weight. Regardless of all the things that I have tried, nothing seems to work. Rudy and I went to an informational meeting regarding the lap band system and gastic bypass. After much research and many questions, I made the decision to have the lap band done. Having had lots of lower back issues and other health factors, I know that the time is now to do something before I get too old. I want to be able to look back at my life with no regrets. There are many things that I do not do right now because I just don't feel comfortable in my own skin. And so my wonderful journey begins..... my pre operative requirements have all been met and my surgery date is scheduled for September 25, 2008!
