-2 lbs. I have this nasty stomach bug that has been going around. It hit me on Friday night and I still have it today (Monday)!! I went to the ER on Saturday and was there for 7 hours. I was having so much abdominal pain that I thought I was going to die. The other thing was that I had been vomiting so much that they thought it may have done something to my band. I had a CT with contrast done and found that everything was OK with the band!! What a relief. This has been a hard winter for me!! BRING ON THE SUMMER!!
Anyhow, that's about all that's new. I will post again on Wednesday!

- I am 38 years old. I have a wonderful husband, Rudy, who supports me in everything that I do. I have a great family of supporters and of course all of my good, good friends! I love my life! In early May I decided that I am really not happy with my weight. Regardless of all the things that I have tried, nothing seems to work. Rudy and I went to an informational meeting regarding the lap band system and gastic bypass. After much research and many questions, I made the decision to have the lap band done. Having had lots of lower back issues and other health factors, I know that the time is now to do something before I get too old. I want to be able to look back at my life with no regrets. There are many things that I do not do right now because I just don't feel comfortable in my own skin. And so my wonderful journey begins..... my pre operative requirements have all been met and my surgery date is scheduled for September 25, 2008!

You have had it really bad this winter girl!! Hang in there though, that's about all we can do. I know that we will be loving the warm weather if it ever gets here. Love ya.
